Laura Blackburn, Principal
As a Certified Philanthropy Advisor, Laura endeavors to inspire her clients, colleagues, and community to unique and joyful generosity.
Laura is an experienced advisor for high-capacity families and foundations, helping them discover and shape strategic giving that advances mission-driven outcomes and creates meaningful, and lasting change.
She takes a comprehensive, solutions oriented approach, looking beyond traditional philanthropy to consider the full range of tools available to advance mission. She has engaged mission-related investments (MRIs), program-related investments (PRIs) and public/private partnerships.
She is also passionate about supporting the next generation of women in philanthropy. She mentors emerging young philanthropists and co-founded a platform that connects, supports, and inspires women who are leading with generosity and purpose.
Laura currently serves on the Goodwill of Colorado Board and is a member of The Philanthropy Collective Advisory Group. She also mentors a Gates Scholar from Colorado Springs.
Her goal is to bring the right resources, relationships, and strategies together to address the complex challenges engaging her clients.
Creating meaningful change with and for her clients is essential, while ensuring the experience of giving is as rewarding and purposeful as the impact itself.
Laura received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California, and a Master of Business Administration from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Laura and her family are grateful to call Colorado’s beautiful Front Range home.
